What this platform is — and is not

hilfe.alpineflow.io is a free, non-commercial platform that matches concrete offers of help (machinery, transport, accommodation) with concrete needs during disasters.

The platform is neither an emergency operations centre nor a public authority. It surfaces matching resources but does not decide who goes where. Every match only comes about through the explicit confirmation of both sides; responsibility for coordinating, carrying out and securing an operation lies with the people involved.

In an acute emergency, always contact the official emergency numbers first (112 / 118 / 144) and follow the instructions of the emergency services.

No guarantee for content and situation data

Offers and needs are posted by users. The platform checks submissions through graduated verification levels but cannot guarantee their accuracy.

Situation data (active fires, burnt areas) comes from public satellite sources and inherently lags reality — NASA FIRMS by hours, Copernicus/EFFIS by about a day. It is meant for orientation, not for operational planning.
